Glu Gamer Spotlight - August 2010

Well it's about that time once again to highlight one of our great gamers. This month, we talk to one of our fans from across the globe to talk about all things Glu.

How and when did you become interested in video games?

I can’t put an age to it but I’ve been playing games ever since I was a kid, my first console was a NES, I used to play games like Circus Charlie, Super Mario, Excitebike, Contra etc.. since then I've had a long list of consoles, these days i mainly play on my ps3 & my iPod Touch.

What is your favorite genre of games to play?

I love the Action/Adventure games, games that have a little bit of everything- a little action, platforming, puzzle solving, driving etc.

What is your favorite glu game?

Transformers: G1 Awakening!! Not only is that my fave glu game, that’s probably my fave game on my iPod Touch!!

What do you like about that game?

Well I’m a huge Transformers fan, it looks great, the story is good. Easy to pick up & play for 10min here and there, I liked the custom soundtrack feature. I like the ending where prime says “This is only the beginning, Autobots roll out”. So that leaves it open for a sequel. So Glu I’m waiting!!

Where is the most obscure place you have played that game?

In the seating area outside a ladies changing room of a Marks & Spencer’s Clothing store, while my girlfriend spent an hour shopping!! I actually finished the story mode there!

If you were stranded on a deserted island what 3 things would you want to have?

Depends on the Island really, if I wanted to stay there I would take Megan Fox, if I wanted to leave the island I'd take Bear Grylls from Man Vs.Wild so that he can get me off that island alive. Would also take Food & Water in both cases, otherwise Bear Grylls would make me eat Horrible things!!

Finish this sentence: If I lost my iPhone/iPod touch, I would _______________.

I’d be very very very upset, would go mad looking for it, I hate losing things & my iPod touch, is my fave gadget so far.

If I could no longer play games, I would ___________________.

I can’t even imagine my life without me playing games. There will always be a place for gaming in my life, It's a huge part of who i am.
