Glu Gamer Spotlight Debuts

With so many great Glu fans out there, we thought it was high time that we get to know some of you. And so we've come up with a new monthly blog to highlight a randomly chosen fan for our Glu Gamer Spotlight.

With that being said, we want everyone to say hello to Edward Barnes from South Jersey!

How and when did you become interested in video games?

I used to watch my sister play "Kaboom" on the original Atari console. We would get so hyper when the game would reach the high speed levels, and being so young at the time, I think that was the first time I experienced a video game induced adrenaline rush.

What is your favorite genre of games to play?

Anything in the Flight category.

What is your favorite glu game?

Glyder and Glyder 2 are at the top of my list!

What do you like about those games?

The colorfully rendered worlds and realistic flight dynamics are the main things that draw me to the Glyder series. Glyder was the first game that really gave me a full sense of Free Flight.

Where is the most obscure place you have played that game?

In a doctor's waiting room full of people who looked like they had never seen an iPhone before.

If you were stranded on a deserted island what 3 things would you want to have?

1. Hand held GPS
2. Clean Drinkable Water
3. Eryn's Osiris Jet Pack from Glyder and Glyder 2

Finish this sentence: If I lost my iPhone/iPod touch, I would _______________.

Stop everything and search until it was found.

If I could no longer play games, I would ___________________.

Really miss hearing the Glu Mobile theme that plays when the games are loading; Doot doot doot doo dah duh dah.
