Glu Gamer Spotlight - September 2010

A new month means it's about that time to spotlight another great Glu fan and this month is no different. Now read on to meet our latest Glu Gamer!

How and when did you become interested in video games?

I've been interested in video games for as long as I can remember. Primarily a Nintendo gamer. I still have my original GameBoy and SNES. Games are very much a big part of who I am.

What is your favorite genre of games to play?

I'm open to just about all kinds of games! I do tend to enjoy the logic/puzzle/platform games more often.

What is your favorite glu game?

Woah, that's an unfair question! Glu has put out so many awesome games, that it's very difficult to choose one. The original Glyder was probably my first taste of Glu, however "1000: Find 'Em All!" is probably my choice.

What do you like about that game?

It's very original. The pairing of collecting items, and coloring the empty world, and encouraging the player to actually GO somewhere, adds up to a very entertaining experience. And the touch of humor for each item is awesome! I would like to see a sequel to the game! Perhaps with an even larger world and more items to collect. That's my challenge to you, Glu!

Where is the most obscure place you have played that game?

The break room at work. ha ha!

If you were stranded on a deserted island what 3 things would you want to have?

Sure everyone says food, but I'm going to cheat the system a bit and assume there's already plenty of food on the island.
My three things would be my iPhone, electricity, and a blanket. Just promise that you'll come rescue me soon, ok?

Finish this sentence: If I lost my iPhone/iPod touch, I would _______________.

*gasp* If I lost my iPhone, I'd try to find it, of course! If it was impossible to find, I'd definitely get a new one. However with my luck, I'm more likely to break my iPhone than to lose it. I always have my iPhone with me.

If I could no longer play games, I would ___________________.

What kind of sick and twisted question is this?! If I could no longer play games, that would probably mean that I had no arms, legs, or eyes. Not something I want to think about!

Ignoring that, I'd say that no longer being able to play games would give me more time to finish all the random unfinished projects that I've built up over the years. Also it would mean I would have a LOT more money to spend on movies and music! However, as long as Glu is making games, I highly doubt they'll wish for me to lose my ability to play (and purchase) their games.
