Paperboy Delivering a Trip Down Memory Lane
The year was 1984 when a young boy hopped on his bike and delivered his first set of newspapers on Easy Street, U.S.A. Since that day, our famed ‘Paperboy’ has gone from the arcades to the home consoles and even to mobile phones, always making his deliveries on time.
Of course it hasn’t been all easy for him as he’s had to overcome Grim Reapers, tornados, oversized cats and even skateboarders throughout his day, which can get pretty scary. However after taking a leave of absence from his paper route, our ‘Paperboy’ is read to hop back on his bike and start chucking newspapers like there was no tomorrow.
On November 4, Paperboy is back in Paperboy: Special Delivery, with a nostalgic newspaper to the face for the iPhone and iPod touch. The game will feature updated graphics with a basket full of 80s flavor, along with online leaderboards via Game Center, and two modes: Story and Classic. Gamers will even be able to hit the streets as a Kung Fu Man, Robot or mad scientist!
Are you ready to make a Special Delivery?

For those who aren't sure, the blue arrows are only one of three options for turning left and right. In the settings menu, you can select to use a joystick or tilt controls.
What are the big blue arrows for? Does this game not use the iPhone's accelerometer? Seems like you should be able to turn the device to steer, and tilt to change speed, so all you would need to do is touch anywhere on the screen to throw papers. Is this how it works? I hope the developer explains, so I can decide whether to spend $5.
