Glu partners with Kim Kardashian for celebrity lifestyle game

Glu is excited to announce that it will partner with Kim Kardashian on the development of a new game that will include her likeness and voice. The title will allow players to navigate themselves into a successful Hollywood lifestyle with Kardashian as their celebrity mentor. Kardashian's character will provide players with fashion tips and career advice as they work to realize all of their celebrity aspirations. Scheduled for release in late Spring 2014, Glu anticipates that the game will launch on iOS and Android in global markets.

"We look forward to leveraging Kim Kardashian's brand and fan base of 18 million Twitter followers, 15 million Facebook fans, and 11 million Instagram followers," said Glu CEO, Niccolo de Masi. "We anticipate that the combination of Kim's creative input with Glu's leading development and publishing platform will create a uniquely compelling celebrity game experience."

The Kim Kardashian game will be developed by the Glu Toronto studio team responsible for the company's recent successes in the casual game genre, including Stardom: The A-List, Stardom: Hollywood, and Zombies Ate My Friends. Glu will provide additional details on Kardashian's involvement in the game development process at a later date.
